By now, most people around the world have heard of Billie Eilish. Her music has become a staple in the pop music world, and her tours have sold out quickly. Now, fans have gotten a chance to see more about how her fame came to be in the new documentary about her titled The World’s A Little Blurry. The documentary came out on February 26th and is streaming exclusively on Apple TV+.

The World’s A Little Blurry shows fans Eilish’s rise to super fame. The journey began when she released her song Ocean Eyes on SoundCloud at the age of 14. To her surprise, the song went viral. This led to record deals, world tours, and a new album titled When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?. Lots of behind the scenes footage shows Eilish’s song-making process (with her older brother Finneas), the demands of touring, and the love she’s gotten from fans and other big musicians.

What makes the documentary great is the more intimate side of Billie the audience gets to see. Although Billie is pretty good at staying true to herself in interviews and performances, this documentary shows her with her family and friends. It humanizes her a bit more, as most people still see her as just a pop star. Another great part of the documentary is watching some of the ways she and Finneas come up with the popular songs Eilish sings. There’s plenty that goes into creating a song, but the duo seems to do it in a different way than most, and that’s what makes her songs so popular. However, all of this fame doesn’t come without struggles. Eilish is seen struggling with self-doubt, constant fame, and desire to have things done a specific way. All of the struggle only adds to the authenticity of the documentary.

Overall, The World’s A Little Blurry provides an interesting and in-depth look at Billie Eilish’s quick rise to fame, and keeps the audience interested. I would definitely recommend checking the documentary out if you haven’t yet!
